If you already have a reasonable knowledge of how the camera works in manual mode, you may want to spend the day in a fully equipped professional studio and learn how to use studio flash lighting. You will learn how to use a flash meter and how to light subjects using artificial light. Starting with a simple set-up we will soon move on to create images which would not look out of place in a copy of Vogue! Even if you never set foot in a studio again, an understanding of studio lighting helps you to look at available light in a new way and understand the subtleties of light falling on a subject. If you would like to take this course and are not sure about using your camera in manual mode you should first attend one of our one day or better still, weekend courses and you will be ready for the world of studio lighting.
The Photo Opportunity studio is a fully professional facility, with lots of lights and other goodies to play with!
