Starting just like the one day, two day and three day courses, with a complete explanation of just how and why photography works, you will soon progress through the whole spectrum of modern digital photography. After two or more days on location Chris then introduces the correct use of your flash gun, which can do much more than simply shoot in a darkened room! This then naturally leads us into the studio and the use of studio lighting. Even if you never set foot in a studio again, some experience of this really does help in the understanding of all lighting situations, both studio as well as natural.
The five day course is also the best choice for those who are thinking of photography as a new career, as it will give you a very good introduction to the world of professional photography and what it means to make images which can work for you. By the end of your week you will also have the beginnings of an extremely impressive portfolio of work shot in a variety of situations and of a variety of subjects.
